A personalized, easy-to-use self-care guide designed to help you choose supportive practices based on your time, energy, and stress patterns.

For the moments when care needs to be easier to see, choose, and begin.

Personally created by Dr. Jennifer McManus, PhD, drawing on over two decades of experience in professional psychology, with thoughtful attention to what your life is asking of you.

When Choosing Self-Care Is the Hard Part

Most of us have been told self-care matters. We hear it in wellness talks, lunch-and-learns, HR trainings, podcasts, and well-meaning advice.

But generic self-care advice is often too broad or unrealistic for the demands of your life.

Knowing self-care matters is one thing. Doing it means choosing care that fits a real moment of stress, and that can be much harder.

Most days already ask too much. A full inbox. Decision after decision. One person needing something then another. Hard conversations. Errands squeezed between responsibilities.

Your mind is trying to keep track of it all. Your body is still holding the tension of the day.

Some part of you knows you need support, but thinking through optionsโ€”no matter how helpful they might beโ€”feels like another task you do not have the time or bandwidth to complete.

In those moments, your brain is already using so many resources just to cope. That is part of why restorative self-care can feel harder to access right when you need it the most.

So it makes sense that you might reach for whatever is closest. Scrolling. Pushing through. Zoning out. Turning on another episode that passes the time but does not quite restore you.

And then there are the quieter moments. You finally have a little time to pause and care for yourself.

But instead of knowing where to begin, you freeze.

Should you walk? Rest? Journal? Stretch? Listen to something calming? Or should you just finish one more thing so caring for yourself feels more โ€œallowedโ€?

The time is there, but the clarity is not.

These experiences point to the same missing piece: self-care advice rarely shows you how to fit care into the life you are actually living.

Time, energy, privacy, stress, emotional capacity, sensory needs, and what your body or mind is carrying all shape what kind of care feels possible.

What helps when you only have five minutes may not be what helps when you have a full hour.

What helps when you feel anxious may not be what helps when you feel depleted.

What helps when your body is holding tension may not be what helps when your mind feels pulled in too many directions.

Your Bespoke Self-Care Menu is created so you do not have to keep translating broad self-care advice into your real life on your own.

You do not need one perfect self-care routine.

You need support that fits different days, different kinds of stress, different amounts of time, and different levels of capacity.

That is the kind of clarity your Bespoke Self-Care Menu is designed to provide.

Imagine Self-Care That Fits the Life Youโ€™re Actually Living

  • Imagine opening your menu on a hard day and finding one caring next step already waiting for you, like a gift you left for your future self.

  • Imagine the next time you finally have a few quiet minutes, and instead of freezing or going blank, you have a clear place to begin.

  • Imagine choosing from a set of practices designed for you, with options shaped around your time, energy, and the real demands of your life.

  • Imagine having low-effort options for the days when your capacity is already stretched thin.

  • Imagine your self-care feeling less like one more thing to get right and more like support you can actually use.

That is the heart of your Bespoke Self-Care Menu.

What Is a Bespoke Self-Care Menu?

A Bespoke Self-Care Menu is a highly customized, visual self-care guide personally created by Dr. Jennifer McManus, PhD, based on what you share in your questionnaire.

Drawing on over two decades of experience in professional psychology, she shapes your menu through a stress-relief and self-compassion lens.

It is designed to help you choose supportive practices based on your stress patterns, time and energy, sensory preferences, and favorite supports.

Instead of another generic list of self-care ideas, your menu turns the thoughtful reflection you share up front into a personalized guide you can return to later, so you do not have to start from scratch every time stress shows up.

That is part of what makes the questionnaire meaningful. You take time once to consider what supports you, what overwhelms you, what feels realistic, and what kind of care you are most likely to reach for. Then your menu holds that information in a clear, visual format for the moments when choosing feels harder.

This is a self-care tool created for real life.

Not for some future version of you with endless time and perfect habits.

For you, as you are now.

If this sounds like the kind of support youโ€™ve been needing, you can order your menu below.

How Your Bespoke Self-Care Menu Is Compassionately Created

Your Bespoke Self-Care Menu is not an automated quiz result or a generic template. It is personally created for you by Dr. Jennifer McManus, PhD, through a process that brings together your questionnaire responses and thoughtful attention to what your life is asking of you.

Drawing on over two decades of experience in psychology, Dr. Jennifer considers what kinds of practices may feel realistic, supportive, and easier to begin based on what you share.

As part of the compassionate creation process, Dr. Jennifer also engages in a loving-kindness meditation on your behalf, taking time to hold what you shared with deep empathy and intention before shaping your menu.

From there, your reflections are translated into a calming, visual self-care guide designed to help care feel easier to see, choose, and begin.

What Your Bespoke Self-Care Menu Includes

Personalized Self-Care Guide  Created for you by Dr. Jennifer McManus, who will carefully review and integrate your questionnaire responses with psychological insight, compassion, and attention to your real-life context.

The practices on your custom menu are selected to feel like you, with thoughtful care behind the choices, so you do not have to keep sorting through generic ideas and wondering what fits.

Time-Based Practice Sections  Practices organized for the daily demands of life, whether you have a few minutes, a short pause, or more time to restore, so care does not have to wait until your schedule clears.

Layered Practices  For combining gentle supports when stress shows up in more than one way, or when you want to deepen your care in that moment.

Stress-Specific Suggestions  Practices selected to support what is actually showing up, whether you need relaxation, grounding, comfort, encouragement, rest, or a shift in energy, so your care is more likely to match the moment.

Familiar Favorites  A small collection of practices you already know can help you feel more like yourself, so familiar support is easy to find when your capacity is low.

Visual Spa-Inspired Format  A calming, beautifully visual menu designed to be inviting, not like another text-heavy worksheet, so returning to your care can feel supportive instead of overwhelming.

Private Customization Questionnaire  After ordering, youโ€™ll receive a private questionnaire where you can share your stress patterns, preferences, sensory needs, color palette, and what you would most love to see, along with anything you would rather leave off. You stay in control of what you share.

Give me 30 minutes of your time with the questionnaire, and I will provide you with a personalized self-care menu designed to help you choose supportive practices that fit your real life.

How It Works: From Order to Personalized Menu

Why I Created Bespoke Self-Care Menus

Hi there, Iโ€™m Dr. Jennifer McManusโ€ฆ

โ€ฆand I created Bespoke Self-Care Menus because I have seen how often women genuinely want to care for themselves, but still struggle to access what helps in real moments of stress.

For many women, self-care can feel selfish, overwhelming, or impossible to fit in. Bespoke Self-Care Menus were created to offer a different experience, one that feels supportive, realistic, and rooted in the life you are already living.

With over two decades of experience in psychology, including supporting women with self-care practices for stress relief and emotional wellness, I have learned that the issue is not a lack of caring.

And itโ€™s not because women do not know self-care matters.

Itโ€™s that real life is demanding.

Stress narrows our options. Capacity shifts. Emotional bandwidth gets thin.

Timeโ€ฆ disappears.

And when that happens, self-care can become one more thing to figure out.

I wanted to create something that could hold some of that figuring-out process for you.

Something that could turn what you share into supportive, realistic options you do not have to piece together alone.

Through PsycHope, my goal has been to bring psychology-informed self-help into everyday life in ways that feel compassionate, realistic, and close enough to reach for.

Because self-care is not a treat you have to earn.

And it is not a luxury reserved for easier seasons.

It is one of the ways we protect our capacity, stay present in our lives, and feel like ourselves again.

If you have been wanting self-care to feel less like something else to manage and more like support you can actually reach for, Bespoke Self-Care Menus were created with that in mind.
